Sold My First E-Book!!!

Okay, so I just found out about this website called They deal in ebooks and came highly recommended from other authors. I decided to give them a try and put my book on this morning. I have already sold one copy and I am so excited.

I am still waiting for to get my book up. They already gave the approval and said it will be up within 24 hours, but if you don't want to wait you can go here:

It has formats for most e-readers like Kindle, Nook, ect. or if you don't have a reader you can download it to your computer and it opens in HTML and Javascript. The best part is it's still just .99 cents.

Please go check it out and spread the word.

Thanks Again!!!!!

The Time Has Come!

Yep, you read it right. The book is done and on it's way to!!!! I can't be positive, but it should show up on Amazon by Thursday. I am so excited I'm shaking. I really started to wonder if I was going to be able to make my June deadline, but I did. Everything is finished.

The new title is, Celtic Illusion. (Sorry Jake, I know you must be disappointed.) It's still the Celtic Knots Series.

The introductory price for the e-book is .99 cents so make sure to tell all your friends to get it before the price goes up. I will also be publishing it in paperback for $11.99 on ( I can't go any cheaper without personally paying the difference.) I am also working on getting it on other e-book sites like Barnes and Noble, the Apple Ibook store, Kobo and other sites.

I will be posting the links as soon as I have them. Please share the links on your Facebook, Twitter, and whatever else is out there now. Positive word of mouth is the best way to get my book out there. Also, if you don't mind leaving feedback on Amazon after reading the book it would really help. (Preferably good feedback.) If you don't like the book feel free to keep that to yourself ;)

This has been a dream three years in the making and I am so excited to finally have it out there. Thanks to everyone who stayed up so many late nights helping to make this all possible and to my family and friends who continue to support me.

So I've Hit A Snag

We are days away people. It's very exciting for me. The new cover is finished. It has been a bigger process then I expected, but at least it's done. The book itself has been given a thumbs up by my reviewers and I am now working on my acknowledgments, which will probably have to be longer than the book.

I unfortunately have run into a bit of a snag. I may have to change my title. Right now the title of my book is, Forbidden; A Celtic Knots Series. It's a fantasy/romance for young adults. My nephew is in that age range and thought it would be cool to search for my title on Amazon. This is where I hit my snag, apparently most the books that have the title of Forbidden or at least have the word in the title are "very adult" romances.

My book has romantic elements in it, but it's far from what the literary industry would call erotica. I am concerned because I do not want my audience to be confused on the genre when they are searching for my book.

This leaves me wondering if I need a title change before it goes live. I will be keeping the subtitle, A Celtic Knots Series, but I am wondering if I need to change the main title to something a little less erotic sounding.

Let me know what you think.

Could It Really Be True?

I am excited to say that we are down to the final checks. I'm done with my part, my editor is done with her part, and now I'm just waiting on the two people I having reading it for flow and continuity. If all goes well it should ready by the beginning of next week.

I will be posting the exact date it will be available to buy on amazon as soon as I know. I will also provide links on my Facebook.

Keep checking back for updates.

I Think I See A Light

Yes it's true I think I see a light at the end of a very long tunnel. I'm making great progress and should still be able to hit a June release if everything continues at this pace. Very excited about how things are coming along.

On a different note I am curious how many of you out there use electronic readers. My husband recently bought me an ipad so I can surf the net and read, but I want to know what you use? Kindle, Nook, smart phone or just your computer? Or something else?

Also, since it's Friday I wanted to send you all off with what I intended to be the "Friday Funny", but after seeing this I had to post it. Wow, talk about a hard life and an amazing gift. I have a five year old and I'm positive he wouldn't make it a day let alone ten years on his own. The video is a little long, but I think it's worth watching.

If you are not up for an inspirational video about over coming life's impossible trials then fine, just click the link below, but I want you to know how disappointed I am in you. (Thanks again, Jake. Without you my Friday's would be so disappointing.)

Almost There...

Things are coming along great. I think this June release might actually happen. The cover is being reworked. I am so excited. I can't believe it's finally going to happen. When I know the finally release date I will put up a count down ticker. I will be sure to keep you all posted.

It's been a crazy week. I have been working hard on the book and even harder getting ready to go on a short vacation with my whole family.Who would have guessed that a three day vacation was going to take a week to get ready for and a week to recover from. We left on Thursday and got back Saturday evening and I am still suffering from lack of sleep.

I did have a fantastic time visiting with my brothers and sisters and their kids. I have fifteen nieces and nephews on my side of the family and they were all accounted for on this trip. Their ages range from 1 to 14 years old with one on the way. (Yes I count that one too!) It was a blast to watch all the cousins interact with each other and surprising there wasn't any fighting. We have a great family.

Now that I'm back it's time to get serious. I even found some great music to edit too making the process a little less painful. If you're interested you can find it here...

Panic Mode

It has been a week since I last posted and I was positive I would be done by now, but I'm not. I am in total panic mode now. I am really close and have sent most of the chapters to my editor so not all is lost, but still I should have been done weeks ago.

One of the reason's I am so behind is for some strange reason my body thinks it needs sleep. Silly I know, but staying up until midnight or later has done some serious damage to my brain. It is taking so much longer to get through each chapter because I stay up and make mistakes that I have to go back and fix when I'm rested.

Still I am hoping for a June release even if it means I don't sleep for the rest of the month. (Just kidding, honey.) Apparently me with no sleep=stressed marriage. I guess I'm not all sunshine and daisies when I've only had four hours. Go figure.

Anyway I wanted to send you off on your weekend with a funny clip from one of my favorite sites. This is from my friend Jake's site. I love this site. Super funny guy that Jake. Can't get enough of it and don't tell me most of you guys out there haven't at least considered putting a TV in the bathroom.
