Narrowing It Down

For those of you who don't know I am moving. Yep, it's true. I am moving to Missouri. I have lived my whole life in three states all of which reside in the west so moving to the middle of the country is going to be an adventure to say the least. This is one of the many reasons book two has yet to make it to publication, but don't worry I am still working on it and I do hope to have it out this year.

Now back to the situation at hand. My husband and I will be flying back to Missouri on a house hunting trip and for those of you who don't follow me on Facebook I have decided to do this trip House Hunter style, like the show on HGTV, for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about. My husband and I love that show and think it will be fun to let all of you vote on which house we should pick. The problem we are having is there are so many houses we are considering we need to narrow it down and I am hoping you will give your input.

This is how it will work. I will list the houses we are looking at by town, and yes there are multiple towns we are considering, and give each house a number. After you have gone through and looked at all of them please comment and let me know your vote. Here we go.

I like #5 and #6. #1 has an AMAZING porch though. I think it's #6 that has the pool and for purely selfish reasons, I really like that one :). I don't mind driving to swim! Also, the ones with land- the one with 2+ acres and the one with 11+ acres. Definite benefit. #5 has a lot of natural light in the basement- which is uncommon. So it wouldn't feel so 'dungeony'. My pick is #5.

I LOVE numbers 1 and 2. Love the architecture and details of both of them. I keep going back and forth on which of the two is my favorite. Number 3 has it's size going for it, and that's about it. Number 6 has a pool. Cool! But that's about all going on there that I like. Number 8 would probably be my top pick. It's got a lot going for it, not only the size of the lot. I'm drooling over that big storage/workshop/barn/garage building!

I don't think you should look at anything less than 4 BEDROOMS, so that eliminates a bunch.

1 & 2 are both attractive inside and out, and have the right amount of space for a family of your size. #1 has an awesome kitchen, too! However, they are in MARSHALL, which means attending a branch instead of a ward. :(

7 is the right size, has a nice kitchen and looks like well-kept interior. Not loving its exterior though, especially the stairs to get to the front door. Kind of looks like the interior is updated and the exterior was left behind and looks several decades old.

8 has good space, that great storage barn or workshop, and lots of land for the kids to explosre and play on! I like the porch too.
